My mom always uses an old-fashioned scale to measure the pasta, because it has box where everything fits in. A couple days ago I took on the job of cooking while my mother was not home. And because I’m not a mastercheff yet I had decided to follow every step my mother does when she is the kitchen. Thus I also used this scale instead of the perfectly working modern scale.
It took me ten minutes to realise that moving the weights from left to right and reversed made no difference at all, so I gave up. My mother can keep her scale. I’m going my own way and use modern technology in the kitchen.
